Otis Handles Controversial Vicious Dog Case as Princeton Township Municipal Prosecutor
As Municipal Prosecutor for Princeton Township, Kim A. Otis Esq. handled the prosecution of 'Congo', a dog owned by a Princeton Township resident which had mauled a landscaper. Mr. Otis sought to have the dog euthanized and the Municipal Court issued such an order after a full trial. After the decision of the Municipal Court was overturned by the Mercer County Prosecutor's Office, the dog mauled a family member of the owner, and was euthanized. Times of Trenton, June 19, 2008.

Princeton University students retain the services of Haveson & Otis in an underage drinking case
In 2003 Haveson and Otis was retained in a major case involving underage drinking at the Prospect Street Clubs in Princeton. Once again, Haveson and Otis has been hired by Princeton University students to represent them regarding an undercover operation conducted by the Princeton Borough Police at the clubs. The firm has a long history of representing Princeton University students.
